Every year the IRO International Robot Olympiad publishes the new challenges, which are based on realistic scientific problems.
Each Challenge has three parts: the Robot Game, the Project and the Core Values. Teams of 1 to 4 people, with at least one adult coach, participate in the Challenge by programming an autonomous robot to earn points in the competition (Robot Game), proposing solutions to the problem they have identified (Project), always operating according to the Core Values.
